Leslie created a line of children’s clothing that consists of designs that were created to be functional and yet enjoyable for children to wear and others to look at. The company mission is to make the best quality clothing possible at a reasonable price that children like to wear. She has been designing unique reversible pants and jackets since 1995.
The clothing line has grown to include dresses, denim skirts, reversible jackets, reversible pants, purses, and hair scrunchies. Our sizing goes from new born to age 14. The products are made from 100% pre-shrunk cotton fabrics that were purchase from various Canadian wholesalers. The fabrics are often not available to the general public as well as some custom dyed colours. The choice of fabrics and creating the designs allows me to offer items that are individual, and often one of a kind.
Using unique pattern designs, Leslie cuts and sews all the clothing products in the studio in Victoria.
All of the seams are sewn using an industrial five thread serger and straight sewing to create a high quality product.
Her products are not available in any retail outlet and are only available through craft markets, higher end craft shows, my home studio or my web site www.sewcute.ca.
We continue to travel to larger shows throughout Western Canada: Sundog Handcraft Faire, Saskatoon; Butterdome Craft Sale (Signatures Shows), Edmonton; Festival of Crafts, Calgary; Art Market, Calgary; Creative Chaos, Vernon; and Filberg Festival, Comox. We also do many local outdoor and indoor shows throughout the year.
We enjoy displaying and selling our product in a variety of settings and unique shows including the James Bay Market.
