Michelle Coccola Jewellery

Michelle Coccola was born in Victoria, British Columbia. She grew up with three siblings in the town of Brentwood Bay on Vancouver Island.

Michelle displayed artistic talent at an early age and began selling jewellery in summer markets at the early age of 14.

She studied basic jewellery making at Stelly’s Secondary School. From there she went on to take an extensive three year Jewellery Arts program at George Brown College in Toronto.

There she learned how to work with many different types of metal including gold, silver and platinum. However, favourite medium to work with has always been wire. She loves the flexibility to create unique pieces of jewellery with few materials.

This year marks Michelle’s 13th year in business. She plans to continue making and designing jewellery for many years to come. She is a regular vendor in the Victoria Ship Point and Sidney night markets. Michelle’s jewellery has been sold across North America and around the world.
